what is more,most of the educated citizens of India are of the opinion that the Nuclear deal between India and the United stats is in the national interest and that it is essential.and with the Left's threat of withdrawing support if the government goes ahead with the Nuclear deal is only being seen as many as the left is against any development for India as large and that they are interested in foisting another national election on the people!
What is really galling is that these people are doing it under the guise of 'national interest'.it is more likely a case of self interest.the left have shown their true colors and the people of India will never forgive them if they try to foist another general election on such grounds and under the guise of 'national interest'.it is the tax payers money that is being spent every election and we the tax payers most certainly do not want another election right away.the left parties can be assured that come next election they will most definitely not get our votes and that is the truth!

The sleeker phone is by far much more attractive than the rest of the pack and is a huge improvement than its predecessor.i am talking about the Motorola RAZR 2.it not only has got a totally new look but there are a whole lot of features that are quite attractive than all the other mobiles put together!

As we all know that the Left parties have always opposed anything to do with the United States and they justify this as saying that it is against their ideology.they even oppose the opening of U.S market chains in Calcutta.personally i believe in 'live and let live'.but i think that the Left parties should wake up to the reality that communism as an ideology is no longer viable in this ever changing world and that they should keep up with the times.
It is the age of capitalism world over and that the sun has truly set on Communism as an Ideology and even as a way of life.take China for example,the Chinese government have imposed the Communism way of life on its people but this is done by brute force and not by free choice!capitalism is the way of life now.so it would be better for all of us in India is the left parties would change and change for the better and soon at that!today,the left have given the government of India an ultimatum of sorts-postpone the U.S-India deal or they will topple the government.had the same nuclear deal been proposed by say the Russians or the Chinese,they would have whole heartedly supported it.the Left parties need to 'live and let live' and not oppose anyone just because their ideology demands it!

Yesterday was the anniversary of Indian independence and i have to say that i am proud to be an Indian.the democracy and the freedom that it entails is a luxury that is enjoyed only by a few select countries.that is sad but the good part is that all over the world people are starting to change the way things once was.democracy is more cherished today then it ever was before.as an Indian,yes,there are still many things that have to change vis-a-vis India but on the whole we have indeed made a very remarkable process from a country that was once in the grip of a famine to becoming an exporter of food grains to the rest of the world.

In the perfect Utopian world,if a country becomes developed or is in the threshold of becoming one as India is,then things would just be picture perfect,would it not?
but the hard reality is that there is no such thing as a Utopian world,it is just a fantasy to which we all strive for.take for example the world superpower,do we hear any news of the countless number of homeless people who spend their nights beneath the flyovers?because we all like to things Utopian and as such we all like to believe that since America is supposed to be a developed country that there are no such things there.but we are wrong,there are and their numbers go up day by day.

Anyway,as regards India,we still have a long way to go.it is correct that there have to be more social reforms done here but by and large we have managed to contain the caste system to the villages.soon,hopefully they will be eradicated forever.also the Supreme court of India has time limited the reservation,which means that is is only a matter of time before every Indian is treated as equal no matter where he/she comes from.our economy is booming and issues like corruption are being addressed more actively today than they ever were before.we have indeed come a long way and there is still so much to do.from being dependent on foreign food exports to becoming an exporter ourselves we have also used one of the legacies that our colonials had left us,the English language.true,as Indians we or rather our forefathers have all suffered under the British yoke,but instead of discarding the legacy that they had left us we have very cleverly used it to prop us into the future and because of that,the reality of the Indian superpower is now before us.
