Students given electric shocks by teacher!

We have all been there and done that but we never had electric shocks given to us by our teacher just because we were not paying any attention in class. That was what took place in a little known school in Maharashtra.

It was the physics class and the students were accused of not paying any attention [ come on, how many of us really paid any attention in that class], so they were given electric shocks by their physics teacher, obviously with the goal of inducing them to pay more attention when dr.mengele spoke.
It is sad to see that the teachers are getting increasingly intolerant and as students their rights are being constantly subjugated by the teachers. The Supreme court has outlawed corporal punishment and it still takes place,even today. When I was a student and was punished for something or the other, the worst thing that happened to me was that I had to stay back for detention. These unlucky students who have had a run in with dr.mengele, are scared out of their wits. The current was mild but the damage has already been done. The Mengele teacher has been suspended and an investigation is ongoing, is this how students are taught, with a chalk in one hand and an open wire on the other??
